The relationships our sea lions develop with their trainers are shown in this interactive display. They teach the animals actions that pique their curiosity and support their care. Weather permitting, every year. Seasonal changes affect the show schedule. For daily times, consult the schedule on the website or in the lobby. All five WCS sites in New York City—the Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Zoo, and New York Aquarium—display solely California sea lions. For breeding purposes, individuals are sporadically relocated between the parks to maintain a genetically sound and sustainable population.
